Helen is an award-winning professional clown artist: a rare mix of theatrical, circus and therapeutic clown.
She also teaches, directs and coaches theatrical, circus
and therapeutic clown artists in Canada and beyond. Her new Therapeutic Clowning Certificate Program at George Brown College commenced in the fall, 2018. 8 incredible clown artist students graduated in June 2019 and have joined Helen's Not For Profit company, Red Nose Remedy. She produced shows through her company 'Foo Productions'
and performed for almost 30 years at special events and festivals worldwide.
She is now undergoing treatment for Multiple Myeloma: an incurable blood cancer. She is hopeful it will gain her another year or so. She is realistic about her prognosis and is still active with Red Nose Remedy. She has moved to Dundas, Ontario to spend the majority of her time with her partner and nearer to nature. She creates original works of art using oil pastels on a daily basis which give her joy.
